Pythagorean Theorem

This animation builds a right triangle with sides 5, 12, and 13 to show how the Pythagorean theorem reveals the missing side of 12. It then uses these colored sides to visually demonstrate that the cosine of the angle is the ratio of the adjacent side (12) to the hypotenuse (13).
