Community Creations Are Live on Mathify

A Small Change That Makes a Big Difference

I’m really excited to share how Mathify is looking right now, because there’s a small change that actually makes a big difference.

You can now see creations from the community.

Community Creations on the Homepage

On the homepage, you’ll notice featured creations right away, but you’ll also see recent ones—things people were literally generating just minutes ago. Someone signed up three minutes earlier and created something new. I hadn’t even seen it before recording, but I already liked it. That’s exactly the kind of dynamic I was hoping for.

Beyond the featured section, you can browse creations by topic: math, physics, AI, engineering, data science, economics, and more. I really hope this grows quickly. The dream is to see this turn into a living library of visual ideas.

Going Beyond Just Watching Animations

When you click into a creation, you can see the title, the animation itself, and a description. But my longer-term vision goes further than that.

I want you to be able to see the code behind each animation. And not just see it—I want you to be able to remix it.

Remixing and Iteration as a Core Idea

The idea is simple: someone creates something cool, you click “remix,” and you start improving on it. Iteration on top of iteration. Over time, the best ideas rise to the top, and the animations just keep getting better.

Even today, you can already do part of this manually. If you see an animation and think it could be improved, you can copy the code, go back to Mathify, paste it in, and ask Mathify to re-render or improve it. That already works. Soon, remixing will be built directly into the platform.

Why This Matters for Quality

There’s one visualization in particular—a splash-style animation—that I really like. It’s already quite sophisticated, and it’s exactly the kind of script that benefits from community iteration. Anyone can look at it, tweak it, and push it further.

A friend of mine logged in and created a visualization as well, and that’s been fun to see. What excites me most is the range of topics. The sky really is the limit here, and I’m genuinely looking forward to what people come up with.

Early Traction and What’s Next

On the usage side, Mathify has been live for just a couple of weeks now. We’re at 72 signups so far. My initial goal was to reach around 100 by this point, so it’s taking about one extra week—but that’s okay.

Hopefully we’ll hit 100 by the end of the weekend. Once that happens, the next big question becomes: how do we grow this into a community of 1,000 people?

Product Hunt and Feedback

I’ll also be linking the Product Hunt launch I’m working on. If you’re willing to support it, it would honestly mean the world to me.

As always, feedback is very welcome. Let me know what you think—and thank you for being part of this.
